Peter Beaumont sales & marketing directorMortgages plc
Peter Beaumont joined Mortgages plc in April 2002. As sales and marketing director, he is responsible for all aspects of brand management, product development, and distribution.
Peter has worked in the life assurance and finance industry for over 17 years and has extensive experience of the specialist and niche mortgage markets. Prior to joining Mortgages plc, Peter was head of sales at Platform Home Loans (formerly The Money Store) where he spent five years and played a key role in the development and expansion of the company in the non-conforming mortgage market before its eventual sale to the Britannia Building Society. Peter's previous roles include five years with Scottish Life Assurance Co., followed by six years as national account manager for Hypo MSL (now Birmingham Midshires). He then joined Bank of Ireland Mortgages (BIM) where he ran field and office based sales teams, developing BIM's business with some of the countries leading intermediaries. After a successful year with Bank of Ireland, Peter was asked by The Money Store to set up and develop its intermediary sales team. This was just at the time when the sub prime market was starting to see major growth and it was an opportunity he could not turn down. Peter was shortlisted for Mortgage Strategy's Mortgage Personality of the Year Award in 2003. back |
