Arndt Hallman head of capital markets, Treasure Stadtsparkasse Cologne
After completion of his degree in business & economics at Cologne University Arndt started his professional career with ABN Amro Bank as assistant to the Treasurer. Later, he became supervisor (manager) of Asset & Liability Management and Derivatives. In 1993 Arndt moved to DG-Bank, assuming various management positions; his last as global head of the bank's derivatives and Pfandbrief trading. Subsequently, he joined Stadtsparkasse Cologne, where, as an executive director, he is running the entire capital market activities and treasury. In this capacity he is in charge of Asset & Liability Management, Proprietary Trading, Capital Market Sales as well as Financial Engineering and Corporate Finance. Arndt is married and has two daughters; he lives with his family in Cologne.
