Mike is business development director for EDS' third party credit administration business line in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa region and is based out of its regional headquarters in Hampshire, England. He is responsible for executing the company's sales strategy for prospective customers in this region.Mike has more than 20 years experience in the U.S. and European mortgage industries, including nearly 10 years with EDS' US loan administration subsidiary Wendover Financial Services in Greensboro, North Carolina. He joined Wendover in 1991 and transitioned to EDS upon its acquisition of Wendover in June 1997. At Wendover, he served in various roles, including commercial loan servicing manager, Resolution Trust Corporation account manager, sales and marketing director, and senior vice president - loan production, in charge of the company's equity release (reverse mortgage) programme. His responsibilities ranged from client/investor relationship management to execution of media and PR strategies. Before joining Wendover, Mike held a variety of positions with mortgage banking firms, ranging from residential and commercial retail originations to secondary market brokerage. In that latter position, he spent seven years with a leading U.S. secondary market brokerage firm arranging the purchase and sale of whole loan portfolios. He has also held a real estate license in both North Carolina and Florida. He is a regular industry speaker and contributor to trade publications. An active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, he received his Certified Mortgage Banker designation in 1995 and has served as an instructor at the School of Mortgage Banking, receiving its Faculty Fellow Award in 1999. back |
