    Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors


    Milan Khatri Milan has been chief economist of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) since 1998. He conducts regular research and forecasts for real estate markets and the construction sector, with a focus on the UK economy and other major European countries. Milan is responsible for surveys of RICS members in the UK, providing key early indicators on developing trends in the residential and commercial property markets.

    He is also a regular commentator on real estate issues on TV and radio.

    He began his career in 1994 as an economist at Wrightson Associates, London. The firm provides analysis of central bank operations and policy, government funding trends and high-frequency economic data. The firm's clients included portfolio managers, traders, economists and strategists, as well as central bank officials.
