As a mortgage banking professional, his responsibilities ranged form managing interest rate risk on a multibillion dollar mortgage pipeline, to creating, developing and implementing mortgage lending programs designed for funding through the capital markets. His team oriented, innovative, and growth-oriented management style transformed the mortgage companies into two of the top 20 mortgage bankers in the U.S. in the 1990s. His first company was cited as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States (1987).In the mortgage insurance industry, he has contributed to the regional and national success of United Guaranty. While at United Guaranty he contributed to the development and rollout of new products and services including mortgage scoring and other innovative products that service the mortgage lending industry. He is a recognized and certified trainer in the U.S. mortgage insurance industry in secondary market operations and analysis, conducting seminar for eight years for various state and local Mortgage Bankers Association and major U. S. mortgage lenders. He holds National Association of Security Deals licenses, Series 7, 24 and 63, which qualify him to sell most financial instruments, own or operate a broker/dealer operation.
