Carole Plant managing director GE Mortgage Insurance
Carole Plant is managing director of GE Mortgage Insurance, based in London. She has been with GE for 10 years in a series of positions working for, and with, the majority of the GE businesses. Prior to this Carole had a career in Diagnostic Radiology and was managing director of The Diagnostic Company Ltd., a company which ran CT and MRI scanners in the UK.Carole joined GE Medical Systems in 1992 as business development manager for the UK; in 1995, she moved to Buc, France, where she became sales force productivity manager for GEMS-Europe. In 1996, she became international sales leader for Europe, working for Paolo Fresco. In 1998, she joined European Equipment Finance as sales force effectiveness leader and moved into an MBB role as commercial quality leader in early 1999. In 2000, she became the first pricing leader for GE Capital in Europe and Asia. She joined GEMI in October 2002. Carole is also the leader of the GE Women's Network in Europe; this is a global, voluntary organisation focused on attracting, developing and retaining women in GE to groom them for senior leadership roles. She is married to Graham, a radiological surgeon, and lives in North Hampshire. Her interests revolve around sport, particularly skiing. back |
