BOARD ROOM SESSIONS

    Isabel AlmeidaIsabel has been Executive Vice President in the Financial Department, Treasury and Capital Markets, of Banco Espírito Santo, SA, since December 1996, responsible for, among other things, the execution of the funding plan for BES Group, including securitization transactions. She joined the bank is June 1995. While pursuing her career in the Treasury area, Isabel Almeida was involved in other BES Group branches and companies as general manager of BES’ Madeira Branch, a board member of BES Finance, Ltd., a board member of BES Internacional, SGPS, SA, and a board member of Banco Espírito Santo (International) Ltd. Prior to joining BES, she worked for a period with IBM Portugal and PriceWaterHouse. Isabel graduated from Portuguese Catholic University in 1984 and became a chartered accountant in 1994. She is married and has two daughters.
