Richard Downer  Managing Director of Principal & Asset-Backed FinanceBear Stearns International Richard joined Bear Stearns early last year from Merrill Lynch, where he was a Director of securitisation, for financial institutions. During that time, he helped successfully put Merrill Lynch on the asset backed league table map through a number of asset backed transactions for the firm. Prior to this, he was responsible for Greenwich NatWest's mortgage backed activities, which at the time was the number 1 arranger of European asset backed transactions.
