Group Chief ExecutiveBradford & Bingley  Christopher Rodrigues joined Bradford & Bingley, then the UK's second largest building society, as Group Chief Executive in June 1996.Following an overwhelming Members vote in favour of demutualisation, Bradford & Bingley began the process of converting to a plc in 1999 and floated on the London Stock Exchange in December 2000. Prior to joining Bradford & Bingley, Christopher was Chief Executive of Thomas Cook, which he joined in 1988 as Chief Operating Officer. He had previously spent nine years with American Express where he held a number of senior posts. He joined American Express from McKinsey. He is a Non-Executive Director of the Financial Services Authority, a member of the Executive Committee of the National Trust and a Steward of Henley Royal Regatta. back |
