Alexandra Sleator joined Moody's in 1997 where she has been primarily responsible for ratings of financial institutions in France, Switzerland, and the Nordic area.

She has also been involved in the ratings of financial institutions in Benelux and Spain. Her association with banks in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Liechtenstein provides her with a special expertise in the field of European private banking.

In addition, Alexandra is rating coordinator for covered bonds in Europe. In this capacity, she has either led or participated in the development of rating methodologies for French, Spanish, Luxembourg Finnish and Irish covered bonds.

Today, she is leading projects in Norway, Belgium and Portugal. Prior to joining Moody's, she spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan working in the bank's capital markets, corporate banking and credit risk areas.

Alexandra studied at Brown University, Rhode Island, USA, where she received a B.A. in Business Economics and a B.A. in International Relations. Previously, she was educated in France.
