José Ramón Torá
Director, European Structured FinanceStandard & Poor's José Ramón Torá is a Director in the European Structured Finance group in Standard & Poor's Credit Market Services. He is based in Madrid and his primary focus is transactions in the Iberian Peninsula. Prior to joining the structured finance group, Mr. Torá worked for the Latin American structured finance group in New York for over two years, and the financial institutions' group for a similar period of time also covering Latin America. Before joining Standard & Poor's, he worked for Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Co. and Banco Español de Credito in New York, also involved with business in the region. While living in Spain, he worked for three years for Arthur Andersen & Co. providing audit and business advisory services. Mr. Torá holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University in New York and a Master's degree in Economic and Business from Pontificia de Comillas University (ICADE) of Madrid, Spain. Mr. Torá is a member of the official register of accountants in Spain. back |
