WHAT THE INDUSTRY IS SAYING ABOUT EUROCATALYST EVENTS
"EuroCatalyst is one of the few worthwhile conferences because the audience is senior and come from the leading players in each of the respective mortgage markets. The ideas and intellectual capital being shared goes far beyond recycled conference topics and touches at the heart of the most important issues driving the markets. It's also the only event that draws people who have stopped attending conferences altogether."
Hoesli Labhart
"I've been back at the office for a week and cannot stop talking about EuroCatalyst. My colleagues are beginning to think that I've joined a cult"
Fanny Borgstrom, Head of Group Funding, Nordea Treasury
"Hold your course and don't ever turn EuroCatalyst into a capital markets event. Keep focusing on the entire value chain because that's what really matters the most. You guys are the only ones who really care about everyone getting some value out of this. Just don't lose the intimacy once everyone else figures out that this is really where things are said, ideas are launched and relationships are formed that just don't happen anywhere else."
Will Ross
"You really have to experience it to understand it. EuroCatalyst encourages a participatory and three-dimensional dialogue in a way that is much more thought-provoking than anything I've ever been to. They have created a setting in which people are forced to think about the issues long after their events are over."
Helena Day, Vice President, Morgan Stanley Mortgage Servicing
"I found the event as stimulating from the audience as I did onstage."
Karin Lissakers, Advisor to George Soros, The Soros Group
"It was a spectacular event. It was also fun, and I really enjoyed myself." Alexander Pollock, Resident Fellow, American Enterprise Institute
(and former president and chief executive officer, Federal Home Loan Bank)
"You really have your priorities in the right place and it shows in your program. Thanks for the ideas and the meetings, we'll always be back . . ."
Liam Coleman, Nationwide
EuroCatalyst | Events
In 2002 EuroCatalyst developed a neutral, independent platform where key industry participants could, for the first time in once place and at one time discuss the commercial realities facing the full mortgage value chain from origination to funding in the broader context of convergence and globalization.
Focusing on three key elements - education, interaction, and entertainment, EuroCatalyst exceeded all participants' expectations, creating an entirely new forum for the industry and executing exactly what the name "EuroCatalyst" implies. On an invitation-only basis, the event has sold out each year it has been held, with an exclusive audience of 300 of the most influential market leaders.
The EuroCatalyst annual event has become synonymous with the accelerated development of a pan-European mortgage marketplace. EuroCatalyst continues to own and produce the event, moving its forum each year to the country that has shown the greatest degree of change.
EuroCatalyst is also the creative driving force behind the annual EuropeServicing event, inaugurated in 2005 for the European mortgage processing and administration sector with cutting-edge content to drive improvements in mortgage servicing. In two years, EuropeServicing has become the key industry gathering for companies and individuals actively involved in developing the European CMBS, RMBS and covered bond mortgage servicing sector.
In short, EuroCatalyst has repositioned the role and importance of European mortgage credit markets by focusing on their core purpose and bringing them to life in an environment that educates, inspires and motivates.
EUROCATALYST ANNUAL EVENT
In 2002 EuroCatalyst launched EuroCatalyst 2002 - Live from Madrid, a dialogue to foster greater cooperation among key constituents from all national European markets and leading players across the mortgage value chain. Established as an invitation-only ad hoc “peer-to-peer think tank”, the event was the first to examine European mortgage market inefficiencies and redirect discussion to the more relevant context of globalization.
The event's initial purpose was to contextualize the framework for the inevitable convergence of funding tools that EuroCatalyst believed would fundamentally drive market integration and expansion. The program emphasized the importance of taking a balanced, holistic view of the mortgage value continuum to better understand market dynamics and maximize performance.
The context and fresh perspective of the event identified unmet needs and related opportunities for market participants and exposed fundamental obstacles hindering the development of a pan-European marketplace.
From its launch, the EuroCatalyst event immediately differentiated itself by insisting upon and pursuing compelling content, always striving to encourage the type of dialogue that moved participants one step ahead of industry trends. It also set a new standard for creativity and entertainment.
Until the start of the EuroCatalyst event, the company was a small but established boutique advisory firm specializing in accelerating cross-border and new market entry for firms in European mortgage markets. The annual event provided a vehicle through which it could scale its vision and advisory services to an entire industry more effectively than was logistically possible through individual client engagements.
Through its singular dedication to the European mortgage sector, EuroCatalyst is clearly differentiated from professional conference producers by focusing on purpose rather than on profit. The purpose of the annual EuroCatalyst event is to improve the products, processes, and practices of European mortgage markets thereby improving their effectiveness.
Today the annual event continues to serve the industry as an entirely independent and neutral platform that focuses on the commercial realities and possibilities of the markets, leaving their political implications to the political process.

EUROPESERVICING
Servicing in Europe has traditionally been viewed as a problematic cost-center for originators and, with few notable exceptions, has fallen short of meeting demands for quality investor reporting. Across the board, third-party servicing is inconsistent both in its availability in the major markets and in the capabilities, quality, pricing, and flexibility of first-generation providers.
To address one of the most important priorities for a thriving cross-border mortgage industry, we created EuropeServicing as a distinct, dedicated annual platform to increase the profile, improve capabilities, create opportunities and highlight the importance of servicing and administration across European mortgage markets.
The two-day event focuses on commercial asset management and CMBS servicing on the first day, and residential mortgage packaging, administration, and RMBS on the second. Reflecting the lengthy tenure, profile and leadership of EuroCatalyst founder Toni Moss in the European RMBS servicing sector, the goal of EuropeServicing is to positively transform the way in which servicers acquire, process, distribute, and protect the information that serves as the ultimate currency of the global mortgage industry. In doing so, EuroCatalyst hopes to fundamentally alter the way in which servicing is perceived and valued as an asset even beyond conventional thinking about servicing rights.
Like EuroCatalyst's signature event, EuropeServicing is purpose-driven, high quality and entertaining. However, unlike the signature event, EuropeServicing presents a neutral brand that facilitates partnership with leading trade organizations that fully endorse and support the event's overall goals and purpose without endorsing EuroCatalyst itself.
The Commercial Mortgage Securities Association, the European Securitisation Forum, and the Council of Mortgage Lenders play vital industry-wide roles in EuropeServicing's overall program and success.
